Hi There! One Christian, Artist girl and her Blog

Hello there! My name is Josie Praytor and this is my blog, Apple Blossoms! I am a sixteen year old girl, first and foremost a follower of my amazing Savior, Jesus Christ.

I am also an artist, in every sense of the word. Be it painting, dancing, or writing; all of that is going to find its own cozy nook in this blog. I am a lover of story and its impact on the world.

This blog will vary; I’ve never done this before, so we are going to take it on the fly! It will probably look like a whole lot of musings, a steady amount of book lists, a little bit of tutorial and patterns and a whole lot of quirky me and my infatuation with words. All to God’s glory!

Goal Statement:

Be that the right thing to call this or not, here we go! My goal for this little blog is that as small and unimportant as it may seem it would: be like a tiny spark that lights up the whole room, a tiny whiff of fresh spring  air that brings hope to a whole winter covered world.

Sometimes I wonder how I can do that. What can I possibly hope to achieve? After all, I’m pretty flawed and broken myself. But thanks be to God, it is not on my strength that I need to rely. A song from one of my favorite bands comes to my head: “Maybe one more hand in the air saying ‘You are holy!’ One more shattered heart singing, ‘You are good.’ Maybe one more voice crying out for mercy; one more hungry soul declaring ‘You’re enough!’ As long as there’s breathe in me, Lord there will always be one more song for You. *

This Blog is a Celebration of art and story and creativity

I also hope to give out suggestions such as good book lists and writing ideas and art projects and crochet patterns! But rather I get scatterbrained self together or not, I hope that my little thoughts and dreamy ideas would be a whiff of spring air to winter weary souls. Soli Deo Gloria!

For the mending, Josie Praytor
