Just A Little Pop of Beauty

Hello friends!! It’s getting to be that time of year again, Summer is right around the corner and finals are looming up ahead of me. So lots of studying! So that is partly why this post is so late, my apologies! I am working on a lovely long post (the center of which I will leave to be wondered about 😁) but in the mean time here is a rainstorm of inspiration, wise words and ADVENTURE!! Here is some art, photography and some of my favorite quotes:

Made using brush pens

‘The world indeed is full of peril and dark places. But still there is much that is fair. And though in all lands, love is now mingled with grief it still grows, perhaps the greater.’.

J.R.R. Tolkein
Always have to put in the two dears 🙂

‘Some people are beautiful, not in how they look or in what they say, just in what they are. ‘.

Markus Zusak, The Book Thief

‘I have often wondered about the wild flowers,’ she said… ‘they have so much beauty and sweetness to give and no one… Who will even appreciate it.’ The look the Shepherd turned on her was very beautiful. ‘Nothing my Father and I made is ever wasted… The little wild flowers have a wonderful lesson to teach… That it is so happy to love, even though one is not loved in return.’

Hannah Hurnard, Hinds Feet on High Places

We are too prone to engrave our trials in marble and write our blessings in sand.

C.H. Spurgeon.
Oh Adventure!

There is freedom waiting for you on the breezes of the sky and you ask “what if I fall?” Oh, but my darling what if you fly?

Well my friends that must be it for today! Until next time, don’t stop dreaming, don’t stop trusting our forever faithful Lord and try to find the joy in all the little things from the wildflowers to the soap suds that brighten up the trying chore of doing the dishes. Press on in eager awaiting of the Mending!

❤️ Josie
